All your favorite Avengers are Sunheri Yaadein (2020) PulsePrime Hindi Short Filmback in the latest Infinity Wartrailer ... well, unless you favorite Avenger is Hawkeye. Then you're SOL, and more than a few Marvel fans have noticed.

Hawkeye's never been one of the more prominent MCU heroes. He hasn't appeared in as many films as some of his teammates (like Black Widow) have, and he's never gotten his own solo movie.

Still, he's been a core member of the Avengers since Phase One. It's weird that he's been completely ignored in all the Infinity Warmarketing. He wasn't in the last trailer. He didn't get his own hashtag emoji. He's not on the poster – heck, Jeremy Renner's nameisn't even on the poster.

He wasn't even included in that enormous set of Entertainment Weeklycovers. A fan artist had to make a (fake) one up for him.

Another fan went out of her way to make sure Hawkeye was represented on the latest poster, damnit.

Poor Clint! After all he went through in Avengers: Age of Ultronto convince himself that he really brought something to the team.

Or ... maybe it's not poor Clint. Perhaps Clint just has better things to do!

That last one's from before the latest trailer, but the point still stands.

To be sure, Hawkeye's not the only key MCU character missing from the marketing. Paul Rudd's Ant-Man is also nowhere to be seen (though maybe that's just because he's so tiny?), and although Tom Hiddleston's Loki is in the trailers, his name isn't on the poster, which suggests his role is pretty small.

For whatever it's worth, the directors insist they've got something "special" planned for Hawkeye in Infinity War. Joe Russo, who helmed with his brother Anthony, told Collider on set last year:

Coming out of Civil War, he’s in the same position that Cap and Falcon are at the end of that movie. And Ant-Man. And coming into this movie you know … the characters on Cap’s side coming out of the Civil War, some made certain decisions and others made other decisions that led to different paths in them dealing with oversight in this movie in a different way. So Hawkeye’s on his own journey in this movie.

And if that journey involves kicking back and staying out of the way while his vastly better equipped colleagues take care of this latest world-ending threat? Honestly, maybe it's for the best.
