Multiple car owners of models made by China’s WM Motor have Watch Dark Fantasies (2010)recently found that a number of in-car features, such as viewing historical charging data and playing music from third-party streaming services, have been rendered unavailable, Chinese auto services portal Autohome reported on Thursday. The company’s official website and user app have also crashed and telephone calls to its customer service hotline were not answered, leaving customers with no access to official repairs for their cars, the report said. The news comes two days after eight-year-old WM Motor acknowledged that it had filed a bankruptcy plan in Shanghai in a move the embattled electric vehicle maker said would facilitate a cash injection from new strategic investors globally to avoid a debt crisis. The company terminated the process of going public in Hong Kong via a backdoor listing, according to a Sept. 10 filing. It held cash and equivalents of RMB 3.7 billion ($507 million) as of last March, compared with accumulated losses of RMB 17.4 billion in the three years to 2021, according to its prospectus.
